“The band started selling a shirt that said 'PARAMORE IS A BAND' this summer which is a response to some people referring to Paramore as 'her' (Hayley) which always makes me laugh. There is a rich tradition of young music fans who incorrectly attribute band names to singular people. I've heard "Led Zeppelin is my favorite guitar player" and "Steely Dan is such a good singer" among others. It's only fitting that Paramore has a shirt like this on their official merch line after welcoming so many new fans this past few years who might not know the rich tapestry of the band Paramore.”
